EDUCATION

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio (2008).

Postgraduate Degree in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies – IBET (2009).

LL.M (Master of Laws) with a full merit scholarship (Arthur T. Vanderbilt Scholarship) in International Taxation from the New York University School of Law – NYU (2014).

He was part of the team of lawyers at Wald e Associados Advogados for 8 years, in the area of litigation (civil and tax).
Experience as an associate at Ernst Young (“EY”), in New York-USA, in the Financial Services area for 2 years. He was a partner at Bocater Advogados for 8 years.
Former Counselor of the Municipal Council of Taxes of São Paulo and Former Judge of the Court of Taxes and Fees of the State of São Paulo.
He has solid experience in (i) litigation in the judicial and administrative scope, and (ii) consulting in strategic operations, including inbound/outbound investments and estate planning.
Assistant Professor at the Graduation Course at the University of São Paulo (2009-2013).
Assistant Professor of the Master's Program in Economic, Financial and Tax Law at USP.
Professor of the Specialization Course in International Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT).
Professor of the LL.M. of Tax Law at PUCCAMP.
Author of articles in magazines and specialized collections, and books on Tax Law.
Member of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT).
